AFD was dispatched for a possible person in the water in Vassar Lake I/A/O the Vassar College Townhouses after reports were received of a woman screaming followed by a loud splash in the water at that location........ With little info to go on other than the initial reports, AFD, The DCSO Dive Team, The Hughsonville FD Dive Team, and the Town of Poughkeepsie Police searched the shoreline and water and found no evidence of anything unusual other than a large group of geese on the lake that may have explained the splash element of the report as they frequently did so while the search was in progress.......
